Join Us at the Bridge Conference August 1-August 2

With 2,000 fundraising professionals in attendance at this year’s Bridge Conference, the largest direct response fundraising conference in the nation kicks off tomorrow August 1.

You’ll find over 80 breakout sessions to help you fundraise smarter and communicate better with your organization’s donors at Bridge. And for tips and case studies from Team MKDM be sure to drop by sessions being presented by account manager, Matt Hepler and MKDM president, Moira Kavanagh.

First up, on Wednesday morning, Moira will be sharing insights on developing data-driven creative in her session Don’t Get Creative: Get Tactical! A Guide to Seriously Effective Direct Marketing Creative.

And Wednesday afternoon, Matt will guide you through strategies for creating an effective direct marketing acquisition control and continuing to build on its strengths in his session Making Your DM Acquisition Work for YOU – Online and Off.

MKDM and Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation Win Multichannel Campaign DMFA Award

MKDM’s Multichannel Campaign entry created for the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation took first place honors at the Direct Marketing Fundraisers Association June 7 DMFA Awards.

The results-getting campaign integrated pre-renewal membership card voting via email and social media with a direct mail membership renewal campaign.

Stay tuned for details on the September DMFA Awards Luncheon in New York City where MKDM’s Genevieve Cox will present the winning campaign along with the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation.

MKDM and Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation Win First Place Acquisition at DMFA Package of the Year

June 7, 2017 – MKDM and The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation received first place honors at the Direct Marketing Fundraisers Association‘s annual Package of the Year competition. The winning acquisition package, which invited readers to help build the new Statue of Liberty Museum on Liberty Island, included a special Founders certificate for participants and commemorative poster featuring the statue.

MKDM’s Eliza Slone Receives Inaugural Rising Leader Award from the DMA Nonprofit Federation

 

MKDM’s Eliza Slone has been named the first recipient of the DMA Nonprofit Federation‘s Rising Leader Award.

Presented annually at the Washington Nonprofit Conference, the award recognizes an outstanding young professional under 35 who has demonstrated achievement, innovation and leadership in the fundraising and marketing community.

A tireless advocate for MKDM clients and talented direct marketer, we couldn’t agree more! In the past decade, Eliza has managed hundreds of direct marketing fundraising campaigns, skillfully blending data-driven strategy with innovative messaging to deliver extraordinary results on behalf of cultural, environmental and social justice nonprofits.

MKDM’s Guidebook Campaign for Rails-to-Trails Conservancy took home a Digital Media MAXI at the Direct Marketing Association of Washington‘s annual Awards Ceremony July 13, 2016.

Established in 1979, the MAXI Awards recognize outstanding achievements in direct marketing. Unique among marketing competitions, the MAXIs prioritize campaign results over other scored critera.
